Current position: we earn nothing from broker links

ChipSentiment has no affiliate relationships at present. The broker links on this site are plain links to those companies' websites. We are not paid for them, we receive no commission if you open an account, and no broker has any commercial relationship with us.

We are keeping this page live because that position is likely to change, and when it does you should be able to see exactly when it changed and what it means.

If that changes

If we join a broker affiliate programme, three things will happen and none of them will be quiet about it:

A commission costs you nothing extra - it is paid by the broker, not added to your price - but you are entitled to know when one exists.

The line that does not move

Ranking is not for sale, now or later. The market board is ordered by market capitalisation, and the market sentiment score is produced by a published formula. No broker, advertiser or sponsor can pay to raise a stock's position or change its score.

Sponsored placements, if sold, are always labelled as sponsored, sit below the top of the board, and carry no market sentiment score. If you cannot tell whether something is paid for, we have failed and we want to hear about it.

Which brokers we list is an editorial decision today and may become a commercial one later. How stocks are ranked is neither, and will not become either.

Other revenue

We may show display advertising, sell clearly labelled sponsored placements, and offer paid memberships. Advertising is disclosed in our privacy policy, which explains what advertising partners collect and how to opt out.

Listing a broker is not a recommendation

The brokers listed here are common choices for buying US-listed shares. That is all. Compare fees, currency conversion costs, regulation and product coverage before opening an account anywhere - the cheapest option for you may well be one we have never mentioned.
