This is information, not advice
ChipSentiment publishes market data and general commentary about listed companies. Nothing here is financial product advice, and nothing here takes account of your objectives, financial situation or needs. We do not know who you are or what you hold.
We are not licensed to give financial product advice in Australia and we do not give it. If you want advice about whether an investment suits you, speak to someone who holds an Australian Financial Services Licence.
About the sentiment score
The sentiment score is the output of a formula we publish openly. It combines price momentum, five-day trend, position in the 52-week range, trading volume relative to a stock's own average, strength relative to the group, and how unusual news coverage is against that stock's own baseline.
Two things follow from that. First, it describes how a stock is behaving, not what it is worth or where it is going — it has no predictive claim attached. Second, it can be wrong, and it will be wrong sometimes. It should never be the reason you buy or sell anything.
About the market data
Prices come from third-party providers and may be delayed, interrupted, or incorrect. Pre-market and after-hours prices are indicative only and often thin. Figures shown as a dash are figures we do not currently have — we would rather show nothing than show a stale number as if it were live.
Do not rely on this site for time-critical decisions. Confirm any figure with your broker before you act on it.
Links to other sites, and embedded charts
Some articles embed interactive price charts from TradingView. Those charts are TradingView's product, served from their systems and subject to their terms; we do not control their content or accuracy, and a figure shown inside an embedded chart may differ from the figure shown elsewhere on this site.
We link to news publishers and to broker partners. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their products, or their terms. Some of those links earn us a commission — see our affiliate disclosure.
